The best thing about the start of Autumn are the cosy nights in. It gets dark earlier so you probably don't want to be out doing things for longer than you have to. Like coming home from school, putting on some candles in your room and watching Netflix! I think even homework is easier to do in the Autumn/Winter time because it gets so dark and cold so you don't feel like you're missing out on anything; like in the summer.
I also think going out for meals and trips to the cinema is best in the Autumn because you can sit and chat in a restaurant for hours while its chilly outside, or watch a film. It might seem like there isn't much to do in the Autumn, just because it's cold outside. But I thought I'd give you some ideas of what you could do to make your Autumn even better!
1. Cinema trips with friends/girlfriend/boyfriend: if it's raining or cold outside then you aren't missing out anything by watching a new film in the warm.
2. Staying in at home: whether alone or with friends, Autumn and Winter are the best times to just stay inside and watch films, paint nails and eat food...
3. Buy some candles: it might sound strange but candles are a great way to make your room/house cosy and warm, as well as smelling good too! Plus you can always find cheap, good smelling candles in most supermarkets, so you don't have to spend loads of money!
4. Bake: baking is one of my favourite things to do all year round, but especially during Autumn and Winter when its cold outside. Brownies and muffins are a great idea for Autumny treats - as well as spooky cupcakes for Halloween!
5. Reading: it's simple but sweet. Reading is a great way to wind down and relax, made even better in your warm house and the sound of the rain outside.
I have lots more ideas, but will save them for a later blog! I hope these ideas have helped or inspired you on ways to keep your Autumn fun, instead of dull.
